The one that got away.

Frustrated by the same empty rhetoric following every school shooting, I came up with an idea for March for Our Lives: pull-string dolls of politicians who repeat the same predictable responses, over and over again. I pitched the concept to my agency and got the green light. Then I pitched it to March for Our Lives. Another green light. But it was an election year, and concerns about political backlash and potential legal challenges ultimately kept the idea from moving forward. Some ideas you just wish had seen the light of day.
